Description
Cephalopholis miniata
With the potential to grow to over a foot in length, the Miniatus Grouper should be kept only in larger aquariums. It will likely eat any fish or invertibrate that will fit into its mouth. It needs a meaty diet (krill, etc) and is a messy eater requiring heavy protein skimming. Groupers should only be kept with other aggressive carnivores such as triggers, large angels, and eels.
