The Koran Angelfish requires a 100 gallon or larger tank with large amounts of live rock for hiding and grazing upon slime algae and cyanobacteria. It is prone to nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles, and therefore, is not a good candidate for a reef aquarium.
A varied diet rich in vegetable matter(spirulina, marine algae, nori), high-quality angelfish preparations, and mysis should be offered at least three times a day
