Description
Ring-tail Cardinalfish (Apogon aureus) Like all cardinals, ring-tail cardinals are a schooling fish, and do best in groups. Unlike most other cardinals, rind-tail cardinals grow quite large (4-5″) and can be preditory towards small fish. They make a stunning display in the larger reef or fish only tank. Minimum 100 gallon tank for a group of 3 or more.
