Description
Speckled Carpetshark | Hemiscyllium trispeculare
Rare endemic to Western Australia
They require a bare bottom or fine sand bed, not crushed coral. They also need a lot of open room to swim, not a lot of rockwork that can collapse on them. They will not bother large fish, but can be victims of larger aggressive fish. They can and will eat small fish.
They will not tolerate many medications, especially copper.
